L'artista australiano-svizzera Lucinda Tanner ha scritto il seguente testo nel suo inglese nativo. Il testo parla della sua residenza artistica la scorsa estate presso la Casa della Piazzetta a Piodina. Morning cloud rises The sun changes to an intense morning light I change my vantage point I move the table forward to the other edge of the piazzetta I shelter in the shade cast by the memorial stone A loud little bird chirps clear and strong A sparrow taps on the window glass of the neighbours portico Swallows swoop The postman arrives on foot A man emerges, 'Buon giorno!' A couple pass through A clocktower chimes from a distance The church clock here on the piazzetta chimes, causing me to jump The lake meets the shore silently and still The mountains remain static Rays of sunlight filter down through the clouds The alps rise high into the sky The stone wall bounds one edge of the piazetta I pull the table up close to the wall of the studio wall A strip of shadow starts to form I squeeze into this shadow The lake glows turquiose Household noises make their way out of open windows A couple knock on a neighbours' door and invite them in for coffee at four The church clock chimes three Voices come from the buildings to the left and the right The evening air flows warm and comfortable The grey stone flags that pave the piazzetta have soaked up the sun's warmth The warmth soothes the bottom of my feet blue of the sky
